Who am I actually meeting?
A Registered Practical Nurse, the same professional who provides the care, not a salesperson warming you up for one. Where a service involves prescriptions, the assessment and authorization sit with a Nurse Practitioner; that division of roles is stated openly because it is how the accountability works.
What does the consultation cover?
Conversation first: what you notice, what you would like to discuss, what you have tried. Then an in-person look at your skin. VISIA records your skin before a medical aesthetic treatment begins; basic facials and body massage do not involve a consultation or VISIA. The discussion then covers the options, their limits and the published price. Ask for the price of any proposed treatment before deciding to proceed.
Why does it cost $75, and where does that money go?
Because the assessment is clinical work and takes a nurse’s time. The $75 is credited to any treatment you complete within 30 days. If you do not go ahead, you still leave with a read of your skin in person and a plan you can take your time with.
Do I need to prepare anything?
Very little. Come as you are; a list of what your skin routine actually contains helps. One thing we ask deliberately: do not send health details by email beforehand. That conversation belongs in the room, where it is protected. It is also why our booking email template asks only for scheduling basics.
Do I have to decide in the room?
You do not have to decide in the room. We can write down what was discussed, including the price, and you can take it home. The consultation fee still applies whether or not you book a service.
Consent can change. Before a service begins, or while it is underway, you can:
- pause and take a moment,
- ask another question,
- or change your mind entirely.
Tell us and we will stop to talk.
Do I have to book a treatment after the consultation?
No. The consultation is a paid appointment on its own. You can take the information home and decide later. If you do not book a service, the consultation fee still applies.
What do I walk out with?
A plan in plain language: what is worth doing, what can wait, what it costs, and what order makes sense. “Nothing for now” is a real possible answer. The next step is yours to take, on your own timing. Booking is online, by phone, or by email, in English, Mandarin or Cantonese.
